Swift Mk II Reel Series

The Swift Reels have become an integral part of Hardy's performance range. The cage is gun-metal blue, the spool silver and it looks as great as it performs. The cats claw ventilation pattern enhances the reels looks and reduces the weight of the reel considerably without any impact on its extraordinary strength.

Tremendous backing capacity together with a wide ranging disc-drag and easy left to right hand conversion, make this a great all round reel. The two largest reels (the 1000 and the 1025) share the same frame, but the two different spool sizes are fully interchangeable. This allows you to buy one frame and vary the spool size to increase versatility. For example, you can have one spool set up with #11/12 weight line for salmon and another with a lighter, #9/10 weight line for sea trout
